Reservations & Payment

How do I make a reservation?

Book online via our online reservation system or call us at (304) 324-3204. A deposit equal to the first night's fee is required to confirm your booking.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: 4:00 PM  ·  Check-out: 11:00 AM. RV guests must be parked by 4 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. All units have keyless entry — your code is sent via email the morning of arrival if your balance is paid in full.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and most major credit cards.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • 31+ days before check-in: Full deposit refund minus $25 processing fee
  • 11–30 days before check-in: 50% of deposit refunded
  • Within 10 days of check-in: Deposit forfeited

Date changes with 2+ weeks notice carry no penalty. Changes within 13 days of arrival incur a $25 fee.

Is there a minimum age to book?

Yes — you must be at least 18 years of age with a valid ID. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian staying in the same unit.

Are there holiday minimums?

Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day weekends require a 3-night minimum stay.

Property & Amenities

Are pets allowed?

Yes — pets are welcome with a non-refundable $50 pet fee per pet. Additional charges apply for any damage. Pets found in non-pet-friendly units will result in a $250 cleaning fee.

Is there someone on call 24/7 for emergencies?

Yes — call (304) 324-3204, Option 2 for after-hours emergencies.

Are there places nearby to buy supplies or groceries?

Several convenience stores and supermarkets are within 2–8 miles. Walmart is 9.8 miles away.

ATV & Trails

Is there ATV trail access from the resort?

Yes. The Pocahontas Trailhead of the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System is 3.5 miles away. There is also a "back way" shortcut via State Rt 71N — maps are available in every cabin, at the restaurant, and at the brochure racks. Trail permits are available on-site.

Can I ride my ATV on public roads to the trailhead?

Please refer to West Virginia state laws regarding ATV operation on public roads. The Rt 71N back route is the recommended shortcut — maps available at the resort.
