Buffalo Trail Cabins & Restaurant has been designed from the ground up to meet the needs of ATV riders and their families. Whether you're chasing miles on the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System or just looking for a peaceful mountain escape, Buffalo Trail is the basecamp that has it all.
We're located at 190 Buffalo Trail in Bluefield, WV — just a minute off Route 52 and only 3.5 miles from the Pocahontas Trailhead of the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System. From the moment you arrive, everything you need is right here: a cabin or treehouse that sleeps 2 to 22, a full-service restaurant with over 30 beers on tap, and direct access to 600+ miles of trail.
Lodging
Cabins, cottages, treehouses, and full hook-up RV sites. Every unit has keyless entry and all the comforts of home. 24/7 bathhouse access for RV and treehouse guests.
Restaurant
Bison burgers, steaks, pizza, and over 30 beers on tap. Summer hours: 4 PM – 10 PM. Winter hours: 4 PM – 9 PM. We also offer catering, venue rental, and private events.
ATV Trails
The Hatfield-McCoy Trail System has 600+ miles of trail open 365 days a year. Access the Pocahontas Trailhead 3.5 miles away, or take the shortcut via State Rt 71N — maps in every cabin.
